Aneta Mlaś – pseudonym Touanda, was born in 1980 in Katowice. For 16 years she has been living and working in Tychy. She practices drawing, illustration and graphic design.
Author of poetic prose works. Her drawings and graphics were published in a special issue of the online magazine Mega * zine Lost & Found (2014) and literary and art quarterly magazine Kwartalnik Literacko-Artystyczny sZAFa (2013). Two original illustrations are on the cover of the literary quarterly magazine WYSPA (No. 4) 2020. Co-organizer of exhibitions, poetry and art meetings in Tychy.
She presented over a dozen individual and collective exhibitions, among others in Łódź, Kętrzyn, Warsaw and Katowice. Winner of several prizes and awards in the field of art and poetry. Chosen the Artist of July (2014) in a competition organized by Qadrans Qltury and the online art portal Talent.pl. She collaborates with several online art galleries, and her drawings find new owners in Poland and abroad (Ireland, France, the United States, Germany). She is the artistic supervisor of the Paleta Art Creators Club (Oskard Housing Cooperative of Tychy) and was a member of the Association of Cultural Creators in Tychy in the years 2015-2020.
She creates with ink, fineliners and felt-tip pens. Attention to details, passion for Art Nouveau forms, floral motifs and steampunk visions are the trademarks of her style, which made her works more and more popular. She considers drawing to be the best means by which she expresses emotions, states and processes between man and surrounding reality.
